SD2-amp

The SD-2 amp loudspeaker is a powered version of the SD-2 loudspeaker system that combines exceptionallyaccurate reproduction with high SPL output in a very compact enclosure. The SD-2 amp uses a proprietary 12 inch cone low frequency driver mounted in a vented enclosure with carrying handles, four aircraft pan fittings (two on top, tow on bottom) and one 35mm tube stand adaptor. The high frequency unit is a 3 inch diaphragm high frequency compression driver couple to a in house designed 90°x 40°CD horn. A unique Active Speaker Output, (ASO) allows the user to connect a slave unit (SD-2) to the SD-2 amp.

(1) Frequency response: +/- 3dB, measured at 3 meters, on axis, half-space conditions -  MLSSA 1/3 octave

(2) Max peak SPL: Measured with music referred to 1 meter

(3) Crossover: Acoustical crossover frequency - at these frequency, transducers produce equal sound pressure level

(4) AES: Power handling is measured under AES standard conditions

(5) Power AMPS: Amplifier RMS output power per channel into 2 ohms, both channel driven
