SUB418-amp
The SUB418-amp is a compact, selfpowered subwoofer cabinet designed to extend the frequency range and power bandwidth of Audio Performance full-range loudspeaker systems. With a cut-off frequency of 25Hz, the SUB418-amp is made for applications where the reproduction of sub frequencies is of importance (music, sound effects). It consists of one long excursion 18-inch ND cone driver mounted in a heavily braced vented enclosure.
The SUB418-amp built-in electronics package features a new lightweight, four channel class D audio power amplifier (D2SP) designed specifically for Self-Powered products. The D2SP amplifier module is a sophisticated switch mode power supply, class-D amplifier design capable of delivering more than 2x 2’500W RMS (bridged mode) into 4 Ohms and 4x 1’250W RMS into 2 Ohms and adding only 5Kg to the weight of the cabinet.

(1) Frequency response: +/- 3dB, measured at 3 meters, on axis, half-space conditions - MLSSA 1/3 octave
(2) Max peak SPL: Measured with music referred to 1 meter
(3) Crossover: Acoustical crossover frequency - at these frequency, transducers produce equal sound pressure level
(4) AES: Power handling is measured under AES standard conditions
(5) Power AMPS: Amplifier RMS output power per channel into 2 ohms, both channel driven
